One Warsaw To Host ‘Be Kind Talks’ Thursday
By Staff Report-
The event is One Warsaw’s first education community themed event, according to organizers, with more to come in the future.
The event will be a panel discussion of racism: where we come from and how we move forward with anti-racism. The event will also be streamed live on Facebook.
The panel will include people from diverse backgrounds and with different skill sets to provide differing points of view, organizers said, including Jonna Watson, who has a master’s degree in psychology; Sara Strahan, a local person of color; and Andrew Morton, associate pastor of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
If the weather is rainy, the backup location will be at in Artista in the Village at Winona, 801 E. Canal St.
