Warsaw’s AAUW Held Annual Silent Auction

The annual silent auction was held to raise money for the scholarship fund. AAUW is comprised of women with college degrees. All fundraising activities go to the scholarship fund which benefits female nontraditional college students. The annual scholarship fund is managed in cooperation with the Kosciusko Community Foundation.
Ten members were in attendance for Saturday’s meeting.
Items discussed included virtual meetings, programs and webinars provided by National AAUW.
The group received a thank-you note from the Beaman Home for the donations from the group last summer.
Many service organizations, including AAUW, have declining membership. Any woman with an associate’s, bachelor’s or advance degree is invited to attend an AAUW meeting.
