Extension Homemakers Puts On Holiday Program

The Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers will hold their annual holiday program Nov. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Atwood Community Building.

This year’s theme is “Angels Among Us.” Attendees will have the opportunity to make a variety of angel-themed make-and-take items such as ribbon, hankie, tulle and clothespin angels, according to a news releae from the Kosciusko County Extension Homemakers. There will also be demonstrations during the day on how to make angels from clothes hangers, burlap, safety pins, corks and deco mesh.  

Those attending will have the option to bring their own lunch or purchase a box lunch.  Come for part of the day or stay for the whole day.  Committee members Sue Martin and Marvene Johnson are working very hard to make this a day that you won’t want to miss.  

Cost of the program is $10, which covers craft supplies and snacks. There is an additional fee of $7.50 for the box lunch. Registration deadline is Nov. 10 and the event is open to the public.
