It is my hope that the 2020 election will be remembered as the year that we took government back as our own.   Replacing “They” with the proper “We” and ending the practice of delivering our votes via proxy, to party elites to make the choices for us. To those who complain about government and politicians, this is your moment to make a change.

Locally, I’d like to encourage you to vote for Travis McConnell as your county commissioner as a strong advocate for our future and a candidate of change that will help take our community back.

I will point out that Travis chose to run for office, he was not chosen. I have full faith that Travis will represent all segments and view points of our county quite well, I’ve seen it in him many times, it’s just his nature not a campaign promise. Finally, Travis is a representative of and knows the life of the common person of Kosciusko County, he lives it, breathes it and walks it everyday.

I do want to close by thanking all candidates, at all levels for running. Your courage to put yourself out there is appreciated, win or lose.
