NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION

    Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Kosciusko County, Indiana, that the County Council of said County will meet in the Multi-purpose room in the basement of the Kosciusko County Justice Building, 121 N Lake Street, Warsaw, Indiana at 6:00 PM on November 12, 2020 to consider the following additional appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year:

County General-Sheriff

    1000-10177-000-0055 Work Release Director                           $57,640.00

VOCA 2020 Grant

    8139-11158-000-0000 VOCA Caseworker                                 $10,726.00

    8139-11601-000-0000  Social Security Contributions               $821.00

    8139-11602-000-0000 Retirement Contributions                      $1,201.00

    8139-11605-000-0000 Group Insurance                                      $2,900.00

CARES Act-Local Testing Sites

    8905-31136-000-0000 Covid Testing Site                                   $100,000.00

    Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard.  The additional appropriation when finally approved will be referred to the Local Government Board of Finance.  The Board will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a certified copy of the action taken.
