Lucy was born Dec. 28, 1917, in Kosciusko County, to Henry W. and Daisy Tusing Biller. She married Paul Hollar on June 22, 1941. Paul preceded her in death on March 20, 2002.
Lucy was a member of the 1936 graduating class of Milford High School and worked on the family farm until retiring in 1982. She was an active member of the former Hastings Island Chapel United Methodist Church in Milford where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was also actively involved with Ladies Aide and the Women’s Missionary Society.
Lucy is survived by a son, Terry L. Hollar, of Milford; a daughter, Ginger (Les) Lull, of Greenwood; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; two sisters: Pansy and Joy; and two brothers: Kendall and Galen.
A funeral service for Lucy is planned for 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 at Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 461 W. CR 900N, Milford. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Lucy’s nephew, Kent Biller, will officiate the service, with burial following in the Milford Cemetery.
