With Halloween three weeks away, events in Kosciusko County have been planned.

Warsaw and Winona Lake previously announced that trick-or-treating will take place Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  

From 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30, there will be a drive-thru Spooktakular downtown Warsaw. The route will begin in the old Owen’s Parking lot, 302 W. Market St. All trick-or-treaters are asked to remain in their cars at all times.

The Parkview Warsaw YMCA, 1305 Mariners Drive, is hosting a free trunk-or-treat from 3 to 5 p.m. Oct. 31 at their facility. The event will have scavenger hunts, games and prizes. For more information, visit www.kcymca.org.

A Halloween egg hunt at Warvel Park, North Manchester, titled “The Great Pumpkin Hunt,” is Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. for toddlers to sixth-graders. Trick-or-treating in North Manchester is 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.

There will be a Mentone Chamber of Commerce costume contest at Mentone Elementary on Oct. 31. The doors will open at 7 p.m. and the contest will begin at 7:30 p.m., said councilman Tim Croy. Trick-or-treating in Mentone will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.

Other area trick-or-treat times are:

• Bourbon, Oct. 31, 5 to 7 p.m.

• Claypool, to be determined.

• Etna Green, to be determined.

• Leesburg, Oct. 31, 6 to 7 p.m.

• Nappanee, Oct. 31, 5 to 7 p.m.

• North Webster, Oct. 31, 6 to 8 p.m.

• Pierceton, Oct. 31, 5 to 7 p.m.

• Silver Lake, Oct. 30, 6 to 7:30 p.m.

• Syracuse, Oct. 31, 6 to 8 p.m.
