Don and Sonya Engle celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary Aug. 24.

They were married at Warsaw Methodist Church Aug. 24, 1946.

Don is the son of former mayor Jack Engle, and Sonya is the daughter of Fred McKawn, a former automobile dealer in Warsaw.

Donnie is a Navy veteran. Both graduated from Warsaw High School.

They have four children.
