Raymond W. Tinker Jr.

Born on Oct. 16, 1946, in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of Raymond W. Tinker Sr. and Larma M. Harris Tinker. He attended school in the St. Louis area and went on to join the United States Navy where he served from February 1966 until his honorable discharge on Nov. 1, 1969.
Ray, as many knew him, was a friendly person with a heart of gold. He loved time spent on his custom Goldwing motorcycle and summers in his Jeep. He liked to fish and spent many winters in Florida. He also enjoyed karaoke thoroughly and was quite good at it! Professionally, he was retired from AT&T with more than 30 years of service.
Raymond is survived by his fiancée, Wendie Wilkinson, of Warsaw; by nieces: Donna Grubbs, of St. Louis; Shelly (Nick) Battafarano, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and Vicki (Halden) Traughber, of St. Louis; and by nephew, Danny (Chris) White, of Topeka, Kan.
He was preceded in passing by his parents and sister, Loretta Mesplay.
Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, is assisting the family with simple cremation as was Ray’s wish.
