Evelyn Violet Kerezman Hoeg

SYRACUSE – Evelyn Violet Kerezman Hoeg, 90, passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, in Indianapolis.  

Evelyn was born in Iron Mountain, Mich., on Dec. 14 to Guy and Minnie Wysong. Evelyn graduated from Wirt High School in Gary and married John R. Kerezman (deceased, 1981).  They settled in Indianapolis to raise their family. Evelyn returned to the workforce serving as a respiratory therapist at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis for several years prior to entering the field of Health Care Marketing for Metro Heath Plan of Indianapolis. Evelyn served as the marketing supervisor at Metro Health Plan until her retirement in 1986.  In 1986, she married Robert O. Hoeg (deceased, 1996).  She was a former member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Syracuse and most recently a member of St Luke’s Methodist Church of Indianapolis.

 Preceding her in death are husbands, John Kerezman and Robert Hoeg; son, Bruce P. Kerezman; and brother, Walton A. Wysong.

Survived by her children: daughter, Kathleen A. Kerezman (Ty McDaniel), of Indianapolis; son, Jeffrey J. Kerezman (Deborah), of Long Beach, Calif.; granddaughters, Amber A. Kerezman, Indianapolis; Jennifer M. Hoeg, Baltimore, Md.; daughter-in-law, Mercedes. Rochelle Moss and Elisa J. Bingle.  Evelyns’ extended family is Sandra K. Jarrett (Tony).

Funeral services will be held at Eastlund Funeral Home: 7458 E. CR 1000N, Syracuse. Viewing will begin on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 11 a.m. Service will be at noon, followed by interment processional directly following to  McClintic Cemetery, East Hatchery Road.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the team of staff members at Marquette Manor for their years of quality care.
