MENTONE – Karen Sue Randall Moon, 74, of rural Claypool, passed Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, at the Cleveland Clinic of Cleveland, Ohio.

Karen was born on Sept. 20, 1946. in Wheeler, Mich., to the late Sye and Lois Randall.  She was married on May 18, 1985, in Mentone, to Jack Moon; he survives.

Karen is preceded in death by her father, Dewight "Sye" Randall; mother, Lois Sitts; stepfather, Alton Sitts; a sister, Lois Utter; father-in-law, Herbert Moon; and mother-in-law, Francis Moon.

Karen is survived by her spouse, Jack Moon; children, Tina (Chris) Kingston, Rick Shepherd, Danny Moon, Dawn (Frank) Baldridge and Kelly Moon (Jason); grandchildren, Brenden (Shila) Barber, Cameron (Mariah) Shepherd, Andrew Kingston, Christopher Kingston, Marisa Baldridge, Skyler (Derrick) Backus, Keillie Parker, Caitlyn Webster, Storm Baldridge, Danny Moon II and Aiden Baldridge; great-grandchildren, Kree Barber, Amiyah Backus and Tatum Shepherd; and siblings, Janice (John) Moore, Wendell (Joyce) Randall, Dianne Noel, Linda Wideman, Michael (Ramona) Randall, Martin Randall, Ricky Sitts, Doris (Denny) Thompson and Eileen (Max) Isley.

A memorial is being planned for family and friends in the summer of 2021.

A private family service will be held at King Memorial Home, 101 N. Tucker St., Mentone, with Pastor Jamy Gregory officiating.  

The final remembrance place for Karen will be in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone.
