I am writing to share my deep appreciation to the voters of Kosciusko County for selecting me as the next judge of Superior Court No. 3. I am truly humbled and honored and I am committed to serving in a way that will maintain the exceptional reputation that has been earned by the court system of Kosciusko County.
Also, I would like to express my very heartfelt thanks to my supporters. I could not have done it without you. Campaigns are an incredible amount of work, but we had a great team and great supporters who made all the difference by putting out signs and talking to friends and neighbors and also by offering words of encouragement. In addition, I would also like to once again publicly thank my family, especially my wife, Rachel, who was absolutely steadfast and unwavering in her support from the very beginning to the very end.
And, I would like to commend my friend Tony Garza on running a strong campaign. Mr. Garza fought the good fight and he ran with conviction. I expected no less. I am confident that the qualities that Mr. Garza displayed during his campaign will continue to serve him well in the good work that he does for his clients.
Finally, as the torch is passed from one public servant to another, I believe that it is imperative that we remember the many years of dedicated service that Judge Joe V. Sutton gave to our county. Judge Sutton has always been fair and hardworking and his integrity throughout his time on the bench has been absolutely without question. Judge Sutton will be very much missed, but if anyone has earned a happy and fulfilling retirement, it is him.
In closing, I can only say again how very deeply humbled and honored I am at having been selected and also that I am committed to providing faithful and dedicated service to our great county.
