Richard To Officiate State Volleyball Finals

Dan Richard, of Warsaw has been assigned to work as Referee #1 at the Class 4A final match between Yorktown and Munster at 7:30 p.m.
Richard has been officiating high school and college volleyball for over 40 years. He has worked 36 volleyball sectionals, 27 regionals, 13 semi-states, and this will be his record setting 10th appearance at the State Volleyball Finals.
Dan and his wife Becky have been married for 40 years with two children, Erin Richard and Kelly Rodriguez (Dave), and two grandchildren Harper and Lily. He is a 1971 graduate of Carmel High School and 1975 graduate of Ball State University where he was a member of the Ball State University Men’s Volleyball team. He is employed as Director of the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission.
