On behalf of the Zimmer Biomet legal team and their partner Faegre Drinker, Kevin Escapule presented a $7,500 check to Rebecca Bazzoni, executive director for Joe’s Kids, recently.

The Zimmer Biomet legal team began a philanthropic project this year in partnership with some of their external law firms to support one of their guiding principles of giving back to the community and people in need. The Zimmer Biomet legal team reached out to teams across the organization for nominations to receive support from this project. Having experienced first-hand the impact of these important therapies had for his own children, Escapule was quick to nominate Joe’s Kids, according to a provided news release.

Joe’s Kids is a nonprofit pediatric rehab clinic that provides physical, occupational and speech therapy services for children with special needs or developmental delays.

Bazzoni said, “Like many others, we have had to adapt what we do to provide care for our children during this unusual time and this gift is coming to us at a time when we need it most. We are very grateful for the support of our friends at Zimmer Biomet.”
