Ronald Paul Conley, of Pierceton, passed away at 2:12 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2020, at Kosciusko Community Hospital of Warsaw at the age of 69.

He was born on July 15, 1950, in Warsaw, one of 13 children born to Lana Frances May Conley and Bertie Conley.  Ron came into this world with his twin brother, Robert “Bob” Conley.

Ron was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, where he was a 1969 graduate of Warsaw High School. He retired after 20-plus years as the street and water superintendent for the city of Syracuse. He was very active in the Pierceton Community and was a longtime member of Pierceton United Methodist Church where he served as a trustee.  He loved his church family and was very giving of his time volunteering whenever needed. He always helped out with the church pancake and chili supper, as well as mowing the church grounds and taking care of the maintenance. Ron will most definitely be remembered for his love of his grandchildren. He adored everything about his grandkids and always made himself available for their activities. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be dearly missed.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Teresa (née Danner) Conley, Pierceton; two sons: Eric Conley, Fort Wayne; Adam (Melissa) Conley, Lakeland, Fla.; stepson, Jeff (Kassie) Branning, Larwill; stepdaughter, Tina (Jason) Mozzone, Columbia, City; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind seven brothers: Robert “Bob” (Sue) Conley, Warsaw; John (Neva) Conley, Warsaw; Roger Conley, Warsaw; Herman Conley, Arizona; Dan Conley, Fort Wayne; Mark Conley, Phoenix City, Ala.; Ruben (Peg) Conley, Etna Green; and three sisters:  Vernita Cunningham, Dayton, Ohio; Joan Potter, Pierceton; Deb Conley, Mishawaka.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ernie Conley; and his sister, Geraldine Bodas.

Ronald’s life will be celebrated with a private family visitation and graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton and officiated by Pastor Holly White.

Arrangements were entrusted with Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
