The Warsaw Business Professionals of America Chapter recently attended the 53rd Annual BPA State Leadership conference March 8 to 10 at the Indianapolis Downtown Marriott Hotel with Warsaw advisors Steve Waldeck and Scott Schramm.

Business Professionals of America (BPA) hosts numerous leadership conferences. BPA is the leading Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related career fields. Indiana BPA has close to 2500 members in 87 chapters, according to a news release from WCS. BPA is a "co-curricular" organization that supports business and information technology educators by offering curriculum based on national standards.

Their achievements are:

Second - global marketing team: Charlotte Grandon, Evyn Mangun, Reagan Roulo                and Katie Swain

Third - personal financial management: Isaac Neeley

third - payroll accounting: Katie Swain

Fourth - computer security: Bryce Welk

Fourth - advanced accounting: Austin Fleming

Seventh - business law and ethics: Charlotte Grandon

10th - advanced accounting: Jacelyn Ellinger
