GOSHEN – Barbara “Jan” Olds Perrin, 74, died Monday, March 16, 2020, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa.

She was born Jan. 14, 1946, in Muncie, to John W. and Barbara Weir Olds.

On Nov. 23, 1979, she married Richard Perrin. He died Jan. 3, 2006.

Survivors include a sister, K. Jeanne (Cliff) Ziebold, Goshen; a brother, J. Wesley (Gail) Olds, Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews.

Jan worked as a home economics teacher at Concord Community Schools for 26 years prior to retirement. She was a former member of First United Methodist Church, Elkhart, and current member of Pleasant View Church, Goshen.

She was also a member of the Weimaraner Club of America, Indiana Retired Teachers Association and the Concord Teachers Association. She enjoyed her volunteer time at Big Brothers and Big Sister of Elkhart County.

A memorial service at Pleasant View Church will be held at a later date along with burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, is assisting the family with arrangements.
