David G. Mitchell, age  60, of Claypool, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, in his residence.

David was born on May 16, 1959, in Muncie, to Glenn and Annette Nottingham Mitchell. He was united in marriage to Kim Konkle on Jan. 2, 2002, in Warsaw.

He graduated from Wawasee High School in 1979. He was a carpenter by trade.

David is survived by wife, Kim Mitchell; siblings, Tim (Julie) Collins, of North Webster; Doug (Cheryl) Mitchell, of Magee, Miss.; three stepchildren; six step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both parents.

The graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, on Saturday, March 21 at 1 p.m. Pastor Mark Fishburn will be officiating. Following the graveside service, a celebration of life is planned from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 21 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1126, 1350 W. Center St., Warsaw.

All arrangements for the family are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
