2 Tigers And A Warrior Tabbed All-NLC



ELKHART – Two Warsaw Tigers and a Wawasee Warrior were named to the All-Northern Lakes Conference boys basketball team.

Senior Blake Marsh  and junior Luke Adamiec represented Warsaw, who finished tied for third place in the conference with NorthWood at 5-2.

Wawasee senior Austin Miller was also named to the team, and classmate Ethan Hardy was honorable mention. The Warriors were tied for fifth  in the conference with Plymouth, each at 3-4 for the 2019-20 season.

Conference champion Northridge, who went on to win the Class 4A sectional at Elkhart, had three players on the team. Senior Alex Stauffer and juniors Sam smith and Carter Stoltzfus were on the team, with senior Cam Knepp receiving honorable mention.

Others on the team were D’Arjon Lewis and Brackton Miller of conference runner-up Elkhart Memorial, sophomore Drew Hogan of Goshen, Trent Edwards and Ben Vincent of 3A sectional champiopn NorthWood, and junior Jake Reichard of Plymouth.

Honorable mention also went to Zaven Koltookian of Concord, Brandon Brooks of Memorial, Zack Barker of Goshen and freshman Easton Strain of Plymouth.

Northridge’s Scott Radeker was named conference coach of the year.

Trojans Land 2 On All-HNAC Squad

BOURBON – Triton sophomores Ashton Oviedo and Tyson Yates were named to the All-Hoosier North Athletic Conference boys basketball team Monday, with senior Tyler Heckaman receiving honorable mention.

Others on the team include conference most valuable player Cooper Hochstedler and teammate Blayne Wilcon of North Judson; Kole McIntire and Cade Short of Knox; Connor Wieczorek and Jimmy Fisher of LaVille; Gage Cripe and Logan Nusbaum of Pioneer and Will Larkin of Winamac.

Honorable mention went to Mike Rans of Caston; Gunner Wagner of Knox; Auston Dove of LaVille; Ty Schumacher of North Judson and Ezra Lewellen of Pioneer.

LaVille, North Judson and Pioneer all tied for the conference title with 5-2 records, with Knox and Triton a game back.
