• 12:02 p.m. Thursday - Brandon L. Warren, 41, of 302 N. Bronson St., Warsaw, arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance and neglect of a dependent. Bond: $10,250.

• 3:43 p.m. Thursday - Frank Bailey III, 44, of 111 EMS W30 Lane, North Webster, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $110.50.

• 5:15 p.m. Thursday - Michael L. Sandlin, 47, Elkhart, arrested on a warrant. No bond listed.

• 9:58 p.m. Thursday - Chris L. Matza, 63, of 7849 N. CR 400E, Leesburg, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $400.

• 10:06 p.m. Thursday - Jerry W. Lecount, 45, of 13918 N. CR 400W, Milford, arrested for child exploitation. Bond: $16,000.

• 11:03 p.m. Thursday - Mark Jay Hamman Jr., 43, of 775 S. Waxwing Lang, Warsaw, arrested for possession of a handgun without a license. Bond: $500.

• 1:25 a.m. Friday - Regina R. Paluchniak, 56, of 9783 E. Chickadee Drive, Cromwell, arrested for maintaining a common nuisance. Bond: $5,250.

• 1:26 a.m. Friday - Jesus Hernandez, 18, of 8280 E. U.S. 30, #111, Pierceton, arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Bond: $700.

• 1:56 a.m. Friday - William F. McMahan, 59, of 9783 E. Chickadee Drive, Cromwell, arrested for possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance. Bond: $5,250.

• 2:50 a.m. Friday - John C. Justice, 66, of 320 W. Main St., #421, Warsaw, arrested for misdemeanor failure to appear. Bond: $5,000.

• 2:49 p.m. Thursday - North CR 800W, 500 feet north of West CR 800N, Nappanee. Pickup-horse-drawn wagon collision. Drivers: Travis D. Rans, 28, South CR 700E, Akron; Jason Miller, North CR 900W, Nappanee. Injuries: Miller was taken to an area hospital to be treated for unknown injuries. Damage: $25,000-$50,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

• 4:29 a.m. Friday - A natural death was reported in the 700 block of Nottingham Place, Winona Lake. Winona Lake Police Department investigated.

• 5:41 a.m. Friday - Criminal mischief was reported in the 2100 block of East Hendricks Street, Warsaw. WPD.

Kosciusko County Council wrapped up the county’s 2025 budget by adopting the ordinance for it on second reading Thursday evening. The first reading of the budget ordinance was held Sept. 12.
