Susan L. Stover, age 57, of Warsaw, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 2:17 a.m. in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Susan was born Oct. 31, 1962, in Warsaw. Her parents were Larry and Nancy Mitterling Stover.

She was a lifetime resident of Warsaw. She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 1981 and studied at Indiana Wesleyan College, where she obtained her master’s degree in business administration. She worked for Zimmer Biomet for eight years in the customer financial services department. She was also a former employee for Bodkin Abstract for 10 years as an administrative service representative. Susan was a former T-ball coach, longtime member of the women’s softball (slow pitch) league and One Dog at a Time Rescue.

She is survived by an aunt, Kay Mitterling, of Spartanburg, S.C.; cousin, Penny Vehorn, of Spartanburg, S.C.; uncle, Ray (Linda) Stover, of Fort Wayne; two special nieces, Stacy (Matt) Sova and Suzanne (Ben) Evilsizor, both of Warsaw; special nephew, Matt (Sarah) Fluke, of Arkansas; in addition, she is survived by her great friends and caregivers, Cathy Folk, of Warsaw; and Kim Zartman, of Warsaw; and fur babies, Mollie, Teddy and Bob.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 27 at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw with her funeral service following immediately at noon in the chapel. Services will be officiated by Kent Miller. Interment will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
