BOURBON – Triton Jr./Sr. High School announced its valedictorian and salutatorian for the class of 2020.

Valedictorian is Whytnie Miller, who earned a grade point average of 4.052. She is the daughter of Wayne and Rhonda Miller.

Her school activities included cross country, golf, basketball, softball, art club, DECA, Spirit Club, Student Council, NHS, Distinguished Young Women, Senior Squad and Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy.

Her activities outside school included youth group.

Her college plans are to attend Saint Mary’s College and major in criminology while being part of the Notre Dame NROTC program.

Caitlyn Ihnen is salutatorian with a GPA of 3.944. She is the daughter of Andrew and Samantha O’Connor.

Her school activities included marching band, jazz band, pep band, concert band, drama club, KYLA, Spanish club, Senior Squad, Helping Hands and Peer Mentoring.

Outside of school, her activities included community service, Destination Imagination, piano and guitar lessons.

Her college plans are to attend Ivy Tech South Bend to become a registered nurse and eventually a psychiatric nurse.
