AKRON – Mary Ann Wilson, 68, of Akron, passed at 1:17 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2020, at her residence after being seriously ill for two weeks.

She was born on April 14, 1952, in Rochester, to the late Alvin and Pauline Swihart Ruff.  She was married 20 years ago to Monte L. Wilson; he survives.

She retired from Lau Industries of Rochester in 2017. She had attended and was baptized at the Athens Community Church. Mary enjoyed embroidering and sewing.

Survivors include husband, Monte Wilson, Akron; son, Rex Wilhite, Kansas; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters: Barbara Ervin, Ligonier; Wanda and husband Hugh O’Donnell, Akron; Donna and husband Brad Wilson, Macy; sister-in-law, Yvonne and husband Harold Lent, Sidney.

She was preceded in death by parents, Alvin and Pauline Ruff; daughter, Teresa Alderfer; grandson, Gage Becker; and brother-in-law, Tom Ervin.

Following her request, no visitation or services will be held at this time.
