Community Care And Others To Minister, Feed Hungry And Homeless

Community Care Ministry with evanglist Justine Slone, Word of?Truth Ministries and 180 Ministries, will hold an event from 3 p.m. Saturday in Richardson Dubois Park, 713 E. Market St., Warsaw. They will be ministering and feeding the hungry and homeless with a dinner following the service. All are welcome to attend and eat after the service.

This will be the seventh year Community Care Ministry has reached out to the hungry and homeless.



Trinity UMC To Have Drive-Through Service

Trinity United Methodist Church, 832 E. Center St., Warsaw, will have a drive-through service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

Come park in the church’s parking lot and the church service can be heard over 107.07 FM.

Winona Church To Have Drive-Through Service

WINONA LAKE – Winona Lake Free Methodist Church, 902 College Ave., Winona Lake, will have a service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Winona Lake Park.  Bring a lawn chair, a personal beverage and a side dish to share. The church will be providing the meat and a dessert.



Burket United Methodist Church Having Rummage Sale And Nelson’s Chicken BBQ

 BURKET – Burket United Methodist Church, 102 Market St., Burket, will have a rummage sale. The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

From 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, the sale will feature an all-you-can-get-in-a-bag for $1.

All proceeds go to the church’s mission projects.

The Burket United Methodist is having a Nelson's Chicken BBQ, pork chops and Pit-tatoes at the Big Egg in Mentone on June 26 from 3 to 7 p.m.

Presales are $6.50 and $7 the day of. For advance tickets call 574-353-7956.



Living Hope To Host Michael Wayne Smith

Living Hope Ministries, 595 CR 350N, Warsaw, will present Michael Wayne Smith in concert at 6 p.m. June 26.  

Smith is a Christian singer/songwriter from Oak Ridge, Tenn., and has been traveling in ministry with his family since 2009 proclaiming the love of Christ through his music. Smith grew up influenced by different styles of music, but his primary interest has always been southern/country gospel. Over the years, he has explored other Christian music genres including praise and worship and traditional hymns. Everyone is welcome as Smith leads the church in song.
