Bingo, Books And Egg Hunt Planned By Silver Lake Lions Club

SILVER LAKE – The Indiana Gaming Commission has given the Silver Lake Lions Club permission to once again hold Bingo.

Bingo will resume at the Lions building in Silver Lake on Saturday. Doors open at 5 p.m. and games begin at 6 p.m. Bingo will continue each Saturday if enough people support this fundraising event.

In addition, the public is welcome to use the Lions’ “Lending Library.” Books for all ages are available outside in the pavilion at the Conservation Building in Silver Lake.

Lastly, the club will be sponsoring an egg hunt at 11 a.m. July 11 at the school grounds. Rain date will be the following Saturday, same time and place. Prizes will be awarded in five age groups. Children are asked to bring their own containers.
