NORTH WEBSTER – Robert B. "Bob" Bause, 77, of Warsaw, passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020, at Goshen Hospital.

He was born on Dec. 14, 1942, in Detroit, Mich., to Robert F. and Alma LaFern Ritter Bause.

He was a lifetime North Webster/Warsaw area resident and graduated in 1961 from North Webster High School. He was married on April 25, 1986, in Clinton, W.Va., to Peggy S. Carpenter, who survives. He retired from RR Donnelly in Warsaw after 41 years.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 253 in North Webster and was a certified instructor for the Junior Shooter through the American Legion.

He is survived by wife, Peggy Bause, of Warsaw; four daughters: Debbie (Tony) Barnes, of Mentone; Chris Bause, of Dunlap; Jill (Craig) Helfrich, of Fort Wayne; and Cassi Bause, of Warsaw; son, Dane (Jaime) Bause, of Warsaw; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Gregory (Sharon) Bause, of Warsaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw. A celebration of life gathering will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 20 at Chapman Lakes Conservation Association, 3019 N. CR 325E, Warsaw. Private family burial will take place in the Salem Cemetery at a later date.

Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind.. 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
