‘The Bowling Alley’ Announces Plan To Reopen

Most notable among the guidelines is only every other alley will be made available, cutting its capacity to the 50% level recommended by federal and state officials.
Other measures include sanitizing bowling balls, limiting the selection of house balls available for use, cleaning all hard surfaces after a group of bowlers completes play, and an expanded policy for cleaning house bowling shoes. The facility will be deep-cleaned nightly.
Employees will be screened before beginning work, and will wear masks while on duty.
Special hours will be kept for senior leagues and others in at-risk categories.
“We are so excited to have our customers back at The Bowling Alley,” said Stichter. We have spent many hours researching, understanding, training, and implementing additional precautions to try to make our environment safe for every person who walks through the doors. We look forward to seeing smiles, hearing laughter, and creating memories once again.”
the Kids Bowl Free program will also undergo a significant change.
“Because of these unprecedented times, we have decided to change how Kids Bowl Free operates in our center this year. Instead of the traditional two games, we have opted to give each kid 30 minutes of bowling per day.” Stichter said. She hopes that this change will help the company provide a great experience for each guest. “
This year, timed bowling just makes more sense.”
