Burket UMC To Have Rummage Sale

 BURKET – Burket United Methodist Church, 102 Market St., Burket, will have a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 19, and 8 a.m. to noon June 20.

From 11 a.m. to noon June 20, the sale will feature an all-you-can-get-in-a-bag for $1.

All proceeds go to the church’s mission projects.



God’s Highway To Have Breakfast

God's Highway To Heaven Church, 555  Webber St., Warsaw, will host an all-you-can-eat breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday.

The menu will include sausage and pancakes, eggs and hash, drinks and biscuits and gravy.

Adults age 10 and up are $6, children 3 to 9 are $3 and 2 and under are free.

The church also will have an inside sale from June 18 to 20. Hours on June 18 and 19 are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with hours on June 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The church is taking good donations and clean items for the church sale. It will also have food and baked goods.

If people want to rent tables to sell on their own, tables are $10 each. Contact Judy Allen Pennington at 574-267-4061 or message her on Facebook.



Sacred Heart To Have Community Meal

Sacred Heart Church, 135 N. Harrison St., Warsaw, will be offering a free drive-through community meal Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The meal this month will feature lasagna, green beans, french bread and a brownie/cookie dessert. Drive through the overhang entrance of the church to the back kitchen door.  There will be someone directing you where to go. The meal container will be brought to the car so remain in your car.

This month’s dinner is provided and served by the parish youth group and parishioners. There is no charge for the meal.  All in the community are welcome. For questions, call 267-5842.



Winona Church To Have Guest Speaker

WINONA LAKE – Church of the Good Shepherd, 708 College Ave., Winona Lake, will have Dr. Andrew Simkins speak Sunday at 10:30 a.m.



First Christian To Resume In-Person Worship Services On Sunday

First Christian Church, 115 Park Ridge Drive, Warsaw, will resume in-person worship services with new times Sunday at 9 and 11:15 a.m. with identical services. Facial masks are recommended.

No Sunday school or children’s services will be held at this time. All ages will be in the worship services together. Children’s worship packets will be distributed as you enter for service, if desired.

Live stream worship services will be available online Sundays at 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. or viewable any time after that. Contact the church office at 574-267-8952 with any questions.



Community Care And Others To Minister, Feed Hungry And Homeless June 20

Community Care Ministry with evanglist Justine Slone, Word of?Truth Ministries and 180 Ministries will hold an event at 3 p.m. June 20 in Richardson Dubois Park, 713 E. Market St., Warsaw. They will be ministering and feeding the hungry and homeless with a dinner following the service. All are welcome to attend and eat after the service.

This will be the seventh year Community Care Ministry has reached out to the hungry and homeless.

NORTH WEBSTER – North Webster Church of the Brethren, 7281 E. CR 600N, North Webster, will have a tenderloin supper June 19 from 4 p.m. until sold out. The cost is $10. It is drive-through only. Tenderloin sandwich, chips, cole slaw, baked beans and pie will be available.
