By Staff Report-

Combined Community Services (CCS) will hold its annual Tools for School event at the Kosciusko County Community Fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 5.

This year’s event will look slightly different as it will be a drive-thru style and will be first come first serve, as some items may be limited this year.

Tools for School helps prepare Kosciusko County K-12 students in need for the upcoming year by providing some of the essential school supplies, according to a news release from CCS. Information on additional resources and assistance agencies will be included in the bags of supplies to help foster positive community connections.

CCS is accepting financial donations as well as school supplies. Some items given out are book bags, pencils, pens, lined paper, notebooks, folders, glue, rulers, colored pencils and crayons. Donations can be dropped off at CCS, 1195 Mariners Drive, Warsaw, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. by Aug. 4.

For more information, call John Parker, director of emergency assistance, at 574-269-6019, ext. 222.
