WINONA LAKE – Grace College Worship Arts and Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church will partner for an evening of original worship songs and hymn arrangements on July 11 at 7 p.m. at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church Worship Center, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake.

The event is free and open to the public. Sign up at wlgbc.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/443491. An RSVP is required to attend.

“I think it is important during this time of re-engaging as a community of faith that we pause to have an extended time of worship and thank God for his faithfulness,” said Dr. Wally Brath, Grace College assistant professor of worship arts and the 2020 Festival of Music coordinator.

Wally and Shana Brath will perform with a full band and string quartet. The ensemble will feature special guests Nikki Lerner, a strong vocalist, and her husband David Lerner, a seasoned percussionist.

“I have known Nikki and David Lerner for many years, and I have always wanted to collaborate on some music together,” said Brath. “I recently went back through songs and hymn arrangements I have used in the past and decided to bring the Lerners to Winona Lake to help lead worship at the concert.”

The live event is limited to 200 people. The concert will also be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/gracecollegeworshiparts/.

The Festival of Music will begin with its annual Symphony of the Lakes Patriotic Celebration on Saturday and will continue with the Jazz Festival on July 25. For more information, visit grace.edu/musicfestival or contact [email protected].
