SYRACUSE – Alice H. Miller, 95, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at Lake City Place in Warsaw.  

She was born on Jan. 20, 1924, in Fort Wayne, to Fred and Velma Henning Witte.  On Oct. 31, 1942, she married Charles "Bud" Miller, who preceded her in 2005.  She retired from the Wawasee School Corporation. She was a lifetime member of the Wolf Lake VFW, the Syracuse American Legion and the Grace Lutheran Church.  

She is survived by her two daughters: Susan (Stewart) Kraft, of Syracuse; and Debra Miller (Craig Gaal), of Manchester, Mich; one son: Chuck (Lisa) Miller, of Syracuse; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-greatgrandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Hodgson and Carol Witte.   

Along with her husband, she was also preceded by one brother, six sisters and one son, Terry.  

Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 2 and 4 and 6 and 8 p.m. at the Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.  Services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Tim Diemer officiating.  Burial will follow at the Syracuse cemetery.
