Class 1A No. 6 Oregon-Davis Rolls Past Visiting Triton

HAMLET – Fresh off a close loss to Class 1A No. 3 Morgan Township, No. 6 Oregon-Davis rolled to a 72-37 win over visiting Triton in a non-conference girls basketball game Wednesday night.

Emma Hepler led the Trojans with 10 points. Kinsey Atkins and Taren Yates had six points each, Lexia Hostrawser five, Whytnie Miller four, and Jessica Soriano, Jaelyn Bules and Abbey Viers with two points each to round out the scoring.

The Bobcats’ Jayden Worthington had 25 points and nine rebounds. Katelyn Sauer and Mercedes Rhodes had 16 points each, and Madilynn Hudspeth 15 for Oregon-Davis (11-3).

Triton (7-10) Hosts Winamac in a Hoosier North Athletic Conference game at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
