WINONA LAKE – In the latest round of the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll, Grace’s men’s basketball team remained at No. 13.

The Lancers (19-12) are days away from discovering their postseason path. Grace is poised to earn a berth to the 2020 NAIA National Championships, the team’s first NAIA appearance since 2015.

The NAIA tournament field and bracket will be announced on the NAIA’s facebook page on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The tournament will be played from March 11-17 in Sioux Falls, S.D.



Lancers continue creeping up in poll

WINONA LAKE – Grace’s men’s tennis team has inched further up the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.

The Lancers are in the “receiving votes” portion of the poll, picking up 28 voting points from the national raters. Grace has the 30th-most points in the national poll.

Grace will have a golden opportunity to make a national statement over spring break. The Lancers (13-4) will play four teams either ranked or receiving votes, including No. 11 Lindsey Wilson, (RV) Asbury, No. 13 Cumberlands and No. 14 Union.



Women’s Basketball earning votes in NAIA Top 25

WINONA LAKE – Grace’s women’s basketball team continued to earn votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.

The Lady Lancers (18-13) finished the regular season fifth in the ultra-competitive Crossroads League. The league boasts six teams in the national poll, including No. 3 Marian, No. 7 Taylor, No. 11 St. Francis, No. 18 Indiana Wesleyan and (RV) Huntington.

After falling in the quarterfinals of the CL Tournament, the Lady Lancers have shifted their focus to the NCCAA National Championships. Grace has already secured a spot as the host institution, but the team may need to play a regional game in March. More information will be provided as it becomes available.

The 2020 NCCAA Women’s Basketball National Championships have been hosted by Grace since 2009. This year’s eight-team tournament will be held March 18-21 at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.

KANSAS CITY – The NAIA recently announced its Top-25 Poll for the sports of basketball and tennis. The Crossroads League had 16 teams ranked or receiving votes in those polls and currently boasts 31 teams ranked inside the Top-25.
