Claypool UMC To Hold Community Dinner

CLAYPOOL – Claypool United Methodist Church, 302 E. Section St., Claypool, will hold Sunday school at 9 a.m. and church service at 10:20 a.m.

Wednesday Bible study will be at 5 p.m. United Methodist Women’s meeting will be at the church March 6 at 7 p.m.

A movie night will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 7.

A beef and noodle community dinner will be held March 6 from 4 to 7 p.m.  Adults will cost $8, youth 7-12 will cost $4 and children 6 and under are free. Carry out is available. Bring a canned food item and receive 50 cents off your meal. All proceeds go to the church and its mission projects.



Gospel Hill To Hold Supper

SILVER LAKE – Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God, 303 S. Jefferson St., Silver Lake, will hold a soup and sandwich supper on March 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. or until food is sold out. A free-will donation will be collected.

A variety of soups will be served, along with peanut and grilled cheese sandwiches. The church will also be having a bake sale. All proceeds will go to the ladies ministry.
