Lancers Ranked No. 13 In NAIA

This marks the highest ranking that the Lancers have received since they were ranked No. 12 in January 2013.
Grace is one of seven Crossroads League teams is the poll. The Lancers (18-11, 10-7 CL) are joined by; No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 5 Marian, No. 18 St. Francis and No. 25 Bethel. Mt. Vernon and Spring Arbor also received votes.
The Lancers are in prime position to qualify for the NAIA tournament for the first time since the 2014-15 season.
Grace will finish out the regular season against Mt. Vernon at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Cen-ter at 3 p.m. Saturday.
The Lancers (18-11, 10-7 CL) wiIl finish either third or fourth in the league standings, depending on Saturday's results. Grace has already secured a home game in the CL Tournament on Feb. 26.
Lady Lancers receiving NAIA votes
WINONA LAKE – Grace women’s basketball team was recognized in the latest NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.
After winning three of four and upsetting No. 5 Taylor, the Lady Lancers were included in the “receiving votes” section of the poll for the second time this season.
The Crossroads League accounts for five teams in the latest ranking. Joining the Lady Lancers are: No. 3 Marian, No. 7 Taylor, No. 10 St. Francis, No. 17 Indiana Wesleyan and Huntington who is also receiving votes.
The Lady Lancers have one more game before the Crossroads League Tournament kicks off Tuesday. Grace will host Mt. Vernon on Saturday at 1 p.m. to conclude the regular season.
Grace will finish either fifth or sixth in the league standings as a result of Saturday’s matchups. The Lady Lancers (18-11, 9-8 CL) are hoping for a strong finish to make their case for a spot to the NAIA National Championships.
