NORTH JUDSON – Lexia Hostrawser had 14 points on 7-of-10 shooting, and Taren Yates added eight points, including a pair of field goals, for Triton in its 50-28 Hoosier North Athletic Conference girls basketball loss at Class 2A No. 9 North Judson Friday night in the regular season finale for both teams.

Abbey Viers added four points and her sister Alxya hit her only shot from the floor for two points.

Lillian Frasure had 17 points and Jordynn Dusek added 14 points for North Judson (18-4, 5-2 HNAC).

The junior varisty contest went to North Judson, 41-16 over Triton.

The Trojans (10-13, 3-4 HNAC) open play in the Class 1A Culver community Sectional against Argos (12-9 with a game tonight) at about 8 p.m. Tuesday, following the first quarterfinal between West Central and the host Cavaliers.
