MILFORD – Dolores Ann Hepler, 86, of Milford, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020, at Waterford Crossing in Goshen.

She was born Aug. 20, 1934, in Syracuse to Leo and Alma Heyde Druckamiller. On March 4, 1967, she married Richard Hepler; he preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 2015.

Dolores retired after 45 years from Johnson Controls, having started there shortly after her graduation from high school and was a long time member of the Milford Christian Church. Dolores enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing and doing crossword puzzles. She liked eating out and shopping with her friends. Dolores was a devoted wife and mother, always putting others before herself. She loved her family and cherished their time together.

Dolores is survived by two daughters: Cheryl (Rick) Bauman, of Elkhart; Brenda (Roger) Baumgartner, of New Paris; a stepdaughter, Sue Ann Timmons, of Warsaw; a step-son, Don (Mary) Hepler, of Leesburg; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Arden (Fran) Druckamiller, of Indianapolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; a daughter, Vicki Skelton; and two brothers: Eugene Druckamiller and Norman Druckamiller.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15 at Milford Cemetery.

Mishler Funeral Home and Cremation, Milford, was entrusted with her care.
