David Anweiler, dressed up as Santa, and Mentone Chamber of Commerce Vice President Tim Croy pass out cookies and candy canes during Saturday’s Santa Food Drive in Mentone. People pulled up in the fire department/town hall parking lot to drop off food donations and for children to get cookies and candy canes from Santa. During the food drive, people were instructed to drop the food off at the back of the fire department, where volunteers took the food out of the person’s car. The food donations will be donated to Mary and Jerry’s Helping Hands.
