An open house is being planned by Jeff and Julie Hurd in honor of his aunt Bonnie Hurd Harman’s 80th birthday.

She is an active member of Harvest Community Church, 512 S. Seventh St., Pierceton, where the event will be held Aug. 22 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Music will be from 3 to 4 p.m. by Pastor Glenn Hall, Jim and Babs Rutherford and Bret Wolf and by Kathy Curtis at 4 p.m.

Bonnie was born Aug. 24, 1940, in Lancer, Ky., and lived most of her life near Warsaw. She graduated from Atwood High School in 1959 with a class of 28, which was the largest graduating class from that school.

She worked at First National Bank Warsaw as a teller for 10 years and later at Little Crow Foods for 13 years as a billing clerk.

She was married to Ted Harman for 55 years living in the Atwood area. Ted went home to be with Jesus April 5, 2017.

Bonnie’s hobbies are Christian radio, music, word finds, shopping and cooking for family and friends.

The celebration is open to family, friends, former classmates and her church family.

No gifts are requested.

Cards would be appreciated and may be addressed to 1425 N. 525 W, Warsaw, IN 46580, her residence of almost 58 years.
