Daniel James “D.J.” Kreider, age 36, of Winona Lake, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020.  

Daniel was born on July 19, 1984, in Warsaw, to James Kelly and Tina Kreider Patrick.

D.J. was employed as a forklift operator for Builders Mart and Premier Concepts. He enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing, playing games on Xbox, loved dragons and Batman and learning archery. He was known to be very outgoing, “goofy,” laid back and easy to talk to and joke with.

Daniel is survived by mother, Tina (Michael) Patrick, of Winona Lake; fiancée, Cassandra Frantz, of Winona Lake; children: Nicholas Kreider, Matthew Kreider, Areil Barr; aunts, Chris Kreider, of Silver Lake; Ronda Ashby, of Etna Green; maternal grandmother, Linda Poe, of Winona Lake. In addition, he was survived by brothers, David Watkins, of Winona Lake; Charles Kreider, of Warsaw; one niece; and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by two nephews, one brother, one sister, maternal grandfather and both paternal grandparents.

Masks are required. The public is kindly requested to provide their own.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday,  Aug. 12 with a funeral service following immediately at noon at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
