Dawn was born the daughter of Sheldon and Sharon Snyder Campbell on July 7, 1962, at Fort Wayne. She has been a resident of Bourbon the past 24 years, moving here from Lakeland, Fla., and Roanoke. On Sept. 7, 1996, she became the bride of Devon Hepler, who she shared a wonderful and loving relationship. Dawn was a nurse working at Bremen Community Hospital and Kosciusko Community Hospital. She graduated form Homestead High School and continued her education to obtain her Bachelor’s degree from IPFW, Fort Wayne.
She was a faithful member of the Bourbon First United Methodist Church. Dawn had many interests that included being very involved in Marshall County 4-H; she loved sewing, antique shopping, her love of animals, “farming with her husband Devon” and especially she was a “loving daughter.”
Dawn will be greatly missed by her family, husband, Devon Hepler; daughters, Katie (Austin) Sellers, of Bourbon; and Holly (Ryan) Clevenger, of Rochester; sons, Brandon Hepler and Jeremy (Laura) Hepler, both of Bourbon; and sister, Deborah (Joseph) Papiez, of Brentwood, Tenn. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Cody (Maisie), Alexis, Logan, Beau, Emma, Luke, Jake, Lyndsey, Jacob and Rylee; great-granddaughter, Ella; and her parents, Sheldon and Sharon Campbell, of Tippecanoe; along with her paternal grandmother, Ruth Campbell, of Rochester.
Preceded in death were her paternal grandfather, Russell Campbell; and maternal grandparents, Walter and Mary Snyder.
Friends may gather with the family on Monday, Aug. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon.
