Larry and Barbara Bair Wilkinson of Kimmell recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married on April 4, 1970, at the Wolf Lake Baptist Church. The Rev. Max Benson officiated at the ceremony.  

They are the parents of two sons: Doug and Amey Wilkinson, of Oregon City, Ore.; and Steve and Jen Wilkinson, of Goshen.  They have been blessed with three grandsons.

Larry is the third generation to operate their family farm. Barbara is retired after 31 years in the special education department at West Noble.

Their celebration has been postponed to a later date due to the coronavirus.

Kathleen N. Anderson-Takacs, 84, of Pierceton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. Kathy was born on Aug. 14, 1940, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Darwin and Jane Gibson. On April 17, 2004, she married Bill Takacs in Gatlinburg, Tenn., who survives.

FOL To Host Pop-Up Book Sale
