Lynn was born July 16, 1939, in Warsaw, to Lewis L. and Eleanor T. Novak Longbrake. She was united in marriage to Charles R. Wheeler on Aug. 12, 1961, in Warsaw.
A lifelong resident of Warsaw, she graduated from Warsaw High School in 1957. She worked as a florist for Ace Hardware for 29 years, retiring in 2008. Lynn was a member of Delta Theta Tau, KCH Auxiliary, Rosary Altar Society Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Tippecanoe Lake C.C.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Charles Wheeler, of The Villages, Fla.; children, Cindy (Todd) Thompson, of Fort Wayne; Chris Wheeler and Mike Kreitzer, of Aventura, Fla.; grandchildren, Mick (Bailey) Thompson, of Morehead City, N.C.; and Molly Thompson, of Fort Wayne.
A private viewing and graveside service will be held, due to extra precautions surrounding the coronavirus. A celebration of life and mass will be held in Warsaw at a later date.
All arrangements for the family are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
