Beginning Monday, snack and lunch meals, for any child under the age of 18, will move to the back parking lot of Lakeview Middle School only. All other sites will close.
Under the new plan, food and nutrition service staff with the support of the transportation staff will provide five meals on Mondays only from 2 to 4 p.m. This is a one-day, one-location five-meal plan, according to a press release from WCS.
Families who have qualified for meal delivery will receive five days' worth of meals on Mondays each week.
Additional changes include the requirement to register in advance and to bring a photo ID. To help protect the safety of WCS staff and families, there will no longer be walk-ups; recipients must remain in their vehicle. No exceptions.
The five-day meal registration form is posted on the WCS district FAQs Forum at bit.ly/WCSRegisterforLunch and https://wcsfoodandnutrition.org. Contact Marci Franks [email protected] with questions.
