CARMEL – Manchester University junior and Manchester High School graduate Karly Eichenauer has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.

Eichenauer posted a perfect week in both doubles and singles action for Manchester.  Eichenauer earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles at Defiance on Wednesday and was leading 6-4, 5-0 against Earlham before the No. 1 Quaker retired.  Karly also teamed up with Morgan Brazo for a pair of wins at No. 1 doubles. Eichenauer has gone 4-3 in No. 1 singles play this year.  Eichenauer's efforts helped Manchester win its first match since October 2017.

Manchester travelled to IU-South Bend Tuesday and will return to HCAC play at home against Rose-Hulman on Saturday.
