Joseph “Joe” F. Cosgrove Jr., age 65, of Silver Lake, passed away on Monday, Sept. 16, 2019, at 6:37 p.m. in Akron.

Joseph  was born on April 24, 1954, in Warsaw to Joseph F. Sr. and Regina Waterson Cosgrove. He  married  Debra Huggins on Sept. 2, 2004, in Bloomington.        

 Joseph lived in Kosciusko County most of his life. He worked as a print press operator, retiring from R. R. Donnelly. Joseph enjoyed sports including, baseball, football, basketball and running. He was a volunteer worker at Magical Meadows for the past 10 years and loved working with the children and adults. He was a member of Spirit of Faith Fellowship, Goshen, and Cowboy Church at Magical Meadows, Warsaw.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Cosgrove of Silver Lake; sons, Joseph F. (Kirstin) Cosgrove III, of Fallbrook, Calif.; and Nathan (Jessica) Cosgrove, of Hemet, Calif.; step-children, Saun (Tatiana) Miller and Shae Miller, both of Millersburg; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; siblings, Greg (Diana) Cosgrove, of Lee Summit, Mo.; Jean (Mitch) Brown, of Warsaw; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill and Mark Cosgrove.

The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Magical Meadows. Pastor Carl Adams will be officiating. Friends may visit with the family from noon until 1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.

All arrangements are entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
