CARMEL - Junior Kaitlyn Cook earned HCAC Women's Golfer of the Week honors on Tuesday September 10 after a record-setting weekend.

Cook set a pair of new records en route to a second-place overall finish at the Defiance College Invitational.

On Saturday, Cook carded a first-round score of 75, the lowest first round score in school history.  Cook fired a 77 in the second round on Sunday and set a new program record for the lowest two-day score (152).

The team's first round score of 326 on Saturday was the second lowest team score in Manchester history.  The Spartans' followed Saturday's hot performance with a 334 team score on Sunday afternoon, setting a new program record for a two-day team score (660).  MU concluded the weekend in sixth place and led all NCAA Division III teams in the field.

Manchester University will compete in the Heidelberg Fall Invitational beginning  Saturday.



Miller Tabbed as HCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

CARMEL – Isaac Miller (Millersburg, Ind./Fairfield) picked up HCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week honors from league on Tuesday September 10.

Miller posted a 2-1 record at No. 1 singles, winning his matchups against Trine and Olivet.  So far this fall, Miller is 3-1 at the No. 1 flight.

Miller also earned a win at the No. 1 doubles position against Olivet College on Saturday September 7.

The Manchester men's team will be return to action on Tuesday September 24 at 5:30 pm at Indiana-South Bend.
