Boys Soccer

Manchester Keeps Winning Streak

The Squires shut out the visiting Braves 7-0 in a home conference game.

Caleb Stout scored first with an assist from?Harley Kruschwitz. Kruschwitz had 4 goals; 3 unassisted with 1 assist from Just Self. Klayton Hendrix scored on a penalty kick and Brandon Hernandez made the final goal, AJ Fortman assisting.

Manchester is now 8-0 for the season, 3-0 TRC.

The Squires host their next conference game against Rochester on Tuesday.



Wawasee Falls To Huntington North

The Warriors lost to the Vikings, 4-0. Wawasee is now 6-1 for the season, 0-1 TRC.

The Warriors are traveling to NorthWood on Tuesday.



Tigers Defeated At Carroll Tourney

At the 14th annual Carroll Classic Championship, Warsaw lost 3-1 against the Chargers. The Tigers are 8-2 overall, 2-0 conference.

Warsaw will travel to Elkhart Memorial for a conference game on Tuesday.



Girls Soccer

Argos Falls to Warsaw

The Tigers slayed the Dragons, 5-1. Corissa Koontz contributed 3 assists and 1 goal; Abby Steffensmeier had 1 goal and Tes Berelsman had 2 assists.

Warsaw is 3-0 conference and 5-2-1 overall. They will host Elkhart Memorial for a conference game on Tuesday.



Wawasee Loses Against Goshen

The Warriors fell to the RedHawks, 9-0.

Wawasee stands at 7-0 overall, 0-1 conference. They will host Whitko on Wednesday.



Whitko-Mississinewa Match Postponed

The Wildcats’ non-conference away game  against the Indians was postponed. A new date has not been set.



Volleyball

Whitko Spiked At Invitational

The Wildcats, who stand at 3-9 overall and 1-1 in conference, lost all four of its matches at the Garrett Invitational.

Saturday brought three sets each against Eastside, Garrett, Churubusco and New Haven.

Leaders were Morgan Howard with 31 kills; Haley Howard, 21; Jadin Parrett, 18. Blocks - Parrett, 12 1/2; H. Howard, 5; M. Howard, 4 1/2. Aces - H. Howard, 6; M. Howard, 5. Assists - Reese Bradford, 44; M. Howard, 15. Digs - H. Howard, 24; Kirsten Schipper, 10; Elizabeth Miller, 9; M. Howard, 9.

Whitko will host Peru in Three Rivers Conference play on Tuesday.



Triton Falls To Culver Academies

The Trojans lost 3-0 to the Eagles with game 1 tallying up at 16-25; 2, 23-25; 3, 21-25.

Leading attackers were Lexia Hostrawser and Abbey Viers with eight kills each. Emma Hepler had 17 assists, Hostrawser had two aces, Molly McFarland had 15 digs and Viers had fourblocks.

Triton will host North Judson on Tuesday.



Boys Tennis

Bethany Bests Triton

The Bruins outplayed the visiting Trojans with Triton’s record at 4-5 and Bethany Christian’s at 7-2.

Triton’s Connor Large defeated Braden Bohn 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.

Triton will host Tippecanoe Valley Tuesday.

Warsaw’s Lady Tigers placed 10th with 246 points. Wini Barnett was 25th overall in 19:22.

The Tigers boys team placed ninth with 260 points.
