Frank and Beverly Tackett will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary today.

They were married Oct. 19, 1959, in Warsaw. They are now living in South Whitley.

They have four children, Deniese Griffith, of Goshen; Jeffrey (Linda) Tackett, of Germany; Dorotha Tackett, of Nappanee; and Rachel Mayer, of Louisville, Ky.;  11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.  

The couple took a trip to Kentucky to celebrate.

Playing the final game of the regular season Friday night, the Warsaw football team looked to end the campaign on a high not with a trip to Middlebury to take on Northridge. Thanks to some outstanding defense as well as two special teams scores, the Tigers were able to head into sectional play with a three-game winning streak under their belts with a 42-13 win.
