Kevin and Brooke Kindig of Akron announce the birth of a child.

Kasen Brooks Kindig was born at 6:21 a.m. Thurdsay, Oct. 10, 2019, at Logansport Memorial Hospital. Kasen weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and measured 20 inches.

Grandparents are Kim Roberts, Warsaw; Ed Roberts, Warsaw; and Greg and Sheila Kindig, Akron. Great-grandparents are Mark and Linda Martin,  Warsaw; Carol Kindig, Mentone; and Harold and Janice Shewman, Akron.

Kasens joins one sibling, Cash, 2.

SOUTH BEND — After a year of collaboration, data analysis and community engagement, the Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) unveiled Move Safe Michiana – the Regional Transportation Safety Action Plan. This comprehensive strategy addresses roadway safety in St. Joseph, Elkhart, Kosciusko and Marshall counties and is now available for public review and comment until June 9.
